Oilers have done their part

With an incredible 4 goal 3rd period, the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Detroit Red Wings, the number one team in the NHL in six games with a 4-3 victory.

The Oilers were down 2-0 and 3-2 in the third period. They faced the adversity and roared back.

I can't even think of anything to write except that I'm really proud of them. The whole team had an incredible effort in the third period and it was some of the best hockey that I've seen them play this year. When I have time to reflect I will be able to do a much better summary of the entire series.

Congrats to the Oilers.

Now Calgary must do their part and beat the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
