In their hands
Earlier today...vancouver had a game in hand on the Oilers and were trailing them by 2 points. A Vancouver win and they would be tied with the Oilers...however because they have more wins then them, they would be ahead of the Oilers.
Vancouver played San Jose today. They were leading by 1 goal until the Sharks tied it up with 5 minutes left. Miraculously, the Sharks won in OT.
Now if the Oilers win one game and Vancouver loses another in regulation the Oilers are in. In fact, if the Oilers, miraculously, win the next two games, regardless of what Vancouver does.
Being cynical, I think the Oilers will lose to Anaheim in OT. As well, Vancouver will win. This makes them tied going into the final game. Even though Vancouver will be ahead on the tiebreak, it will still make for an interesting last week of the NHL season..

Check your myspace dude! Aaand, the Oilers had better beat Anaheim or I'll piss on the ice. I'm going to that game...I hope they make the playoffs. Gives me an excuse to wear body paint...and nothing else! WAHOO!
