How Depressing
You know the Mexican Fan Palms that I have been carefully nursing from seed that I only have 2 healthy of 3 left?
Well it turns out that my Aunt in Vancouver has two fan palms that she just purchased for her house. Sadly, they are currently sitting on her patio.
Why do I live in Edmonton?

And I can't believe your sister is 18! That is SCARY!!!! Ahh! Happy birthday to her!
Because you realize that the world doesn't end outside Vancouver! You enjoy down-to-earth folks. Because you have fond memories of tobagganing and snowmobiling that Vancouverites just cannot attest to. You enjoy the sun and hate rain and fog. Most of all, because Alberta is a damned good province with great hockey teams and far superior health care!
