Scrubs and Palms

Some good news to report on two fronts.

1) We got our five pairs of scrubs. For a great expense, all of the dental students received scrubs. Each year in dentistry has a different colour of scrubs as do hygiene. The difference in scrubs I'm sure is to differentiate us so that support staff will be less likely to get us confused and be able to ID us much easier. Anywa, the scrubs are a Royal Blue...not a light or dark one but ROYAL blue. I'm ambivalent on the colour. It looks much better on the girls than the guys. We have already described ourselves as Wal-mart workers, and smurfs and just plain ugly. Oh well. They fit nicely and are comfy.

2) Upon examination of my tropical grow-op, I noticed that 3 of my Mexican Fan Palm seeds have germinated. I now have 6 seeds that have germinated. Who knew that this would be so successful?
