The Greatest Television Crime Fighter/Solver
Basically this boils down to my favorite television shows.
The Greatest Crime Fighter out there is named Jack Horratio Grissom. Of course I know I'm not being original at all. However, if you think of it, a combination of all three would be totally amazing.
24- Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) has attitude, and doesn't take no for an answer, ever. This makes him highly lacking in the people skills department yet has a devotion to his family even during possible nuclear strikes. Trusting nobody, he is a highly skilled at getting answers from even the hardest criminals. He can go more than 24 hours without sleep as if it was a thing one did regularly. The schemes he pulls make it sometime look as if he was an understudy to Macguyver. While fighting crime, he almost inevitably comes close to dying at the end up the 24 hours but can still kick ass while having heart attacks showing his strong will and determination.
Strengths: Strength, attitude
CSI: Miami- Horratio Cane (David Caruso) felt that the New York police force otherwise known as NYPD: Blue wasn't good enough so he set up camp with the Miami-Dade police. What Horratio lacks in strength he makes up for with his style and how he relates with people. Nobody can wear shades, scowl, hold his hands on his hips while the wind blows and look off into the distance better than Horratio, even during murder investigations. Not to mention the fact that he is able to always sound quite snooty with the way he talks. Horratio is also great talking to victims, especially children.
Strengths: Style, empathy
CSI- Gil Grissom (William Petersen) is the brains of the greatest crime fighter. Even at the darkest of hour or time, Grissom is always there to deliver a cheesy yet witty comment about the crime he is currently investigating. Amazingly enough, he is also able to deliver it before the theme song! He is also a great believer in being objective with his famous quotes he constantly flaunts to his co-workers like "People lie, evidence never does". Having a doctorate in entomology, he has already proven to have great attention to detail and this has been shown countless times over the five seasons of the show itself. A perpetual loner, caused somewhat by having a deaf mother, Grissom absorbs himself in his work at the expense of other important things in his life. One cannot forget the beard...vintage Grissom. Maybe Just For Men was right when they said, "No play for Mr. GrEy" (Go Canada!)
Strengths: Work ethic, wit
So there you have it, a strong fighter with attitude who can go over 24 hours with sleep who is stylish, great with people, and who has incredible work ethic, wit, and a beard!

I'm familiar only with Grissom and Horratio from that one cross-over episode. I hear 24 is a good show. As I've made clear in a previous post, I, myself, wouldn't exactly label the CSI writing as the wittiest, I'd say that they're more attempts at wit. Sometimes successful, often not. But at least they're trying. Though I must say that this amalgam of a crime fighter would seem to be a terribly conflicted individual.
Conflicted yes!!
But then if he fought crime and was as conflicted as you say that would make him that much more tragic character and as a consequence a lot better!
Almost as conflicted as Batman.
So basically this amalgamated character would be like a superhero.
